Four Indian startups win a boat trip for global mentoring
When MV Explorer, one of the world’s fastest passenger ships, leaves the San Diego coast next January to embark on the first ‘accelerator’ programme aboard a ship, four of the 11 startups chosen for the voyage will be from India.
The Unreasonable Institute, a mentorship-driven acceleration programme for firms tackling social problems, has teamed up with Stanford’s Institute of Design, or d.school, and Semester at Sea – a shipboard education scheme – to launch ‘Unreasonable at Sea’ for tech entrepreneurs who want to take ventures to global markets.
